This summer we were lucky to be able too spend three weeks in Colorado. Our first stop was at The Dunes. No idea what we would see but it wasn't this. The Dunes were fascinating but the "beach" was something else. It looked as if we could have been in Florida. Umbrellas, kids with their floats, and everyone just having a good time. The ranger told us the water was deeper a few weeks earlier because of melting snow. If you ever get to Colorado this is a must see.

This was the beggining of ou day. We saw many food stands but we stopped at LA. because everyone was so friendly. They gave us beads and a chance to win something. Can't remember what it was. Dad ate a couple of things but Tam and I just looked. A good day was had even though it got a little warm.

We arrived at Epcot and there were not too many people there.

Forgot to add we never miss a chance for a cake and it was sooooo good!!!

Had a "they are leaving for Kansas" supper for Kimi and Lair on Thursday. They left this morning and are now in Kansas. We all wish them much happiness!!!

Hollywood Studies formerely MGM

Today we decided to go see what was new besides the name at Hollywood Studies. No pictures as neither of us brought cameras. They have a new ride not sure about it but there was a 50 minute wait and no fast pass until 1:00. Needless to say we decided we would do it another day. There were a lot of people but it is a big area so it wasn't too bad. The worse thing was the wait at the goody shop. Decided we could do without. Did a couple of things(the ones that had air conditioning) and headed out to find a place for lunch. Had a good day. Time to get out again and see what is going on in the world.

Not quite like Hawaii but big for Florida.

Went to see what might have happened at the beaches when Hannah went by. Here is some of the erosion at Canaveral Beach. Lots of surfers out and having a good time.
