Began our trip to Tampa at Busch gardens. So much has changed since we were last there. Jungala is all new and as you can see the cats are beautiful. A good day as it was cool and overcast the entire time. Good thing we began there as the rains came. However we had the aquarium and MOSI (museum of science and industry) which are both inside. The rain did not amount to much but we found out they close the Zoo and none of the boat tours go out. Sat. it was still raining and Dad was anxious to get Lauri's chairs started so home we headed.

Forgot,of course we did have a picnic. A little windy so Dad was holding down the chips. Even with the wind it was still nice.

What a beautiful day. However it is a little early for the northern birds to have arrived. We did see a couple of interesting sights. One very large gator and one smaller one. There were many Osprey, a bird we had not seen many of before in the refuge. I hope Dad has some better pictures of the birds than I got.

Today was Lauri and gang's day for Epcot and The Food and Wine festival. Everyone was looking good and ready to eat and drink.
This is the gang. Tammy, Ray and I left after getting everyone in. Even Chris took the day off to be there.

No reason for posting this but I love the big Uncle's attention to the little boy.

Where else but in Estes Park, CO can you walk out your moootel room and see these beautiful animals. Every morning we saw this beautiful sight.
We took this one way road and we know why you can only go one way. It was frightening at times but I would tell everyone to try it once. Beautiful scenery all the way to the top.
This is from the top. We were lucky as we had no bad weather on the way up. However we talked to some people that had some rain and snow on the main highway. The views are beautiful both going up and coming back down. My pictures do not due it justice so I guess you will have to make the trip out. This was our last stop in Colorado and then on to SD and meet up with Kim, Tam and the kids.

This is to introduce you to a member of Tom's family. Sam, his niece, and her new husband Matt. Dad and I were fortunate to be able to get them into Epcot. We left early as it was hot, hot and hot. I am sure it was fun for them and also Tom and Tam.

I am sure you know these two.

Still in the Manitou Springs area are The Gardens of the Gods. We went back to this area several times. Trying to visit at different times of the day. Many different forms and several beautiful species of flowers. You all need to visit this area.

There are many more things to see in Alamosa but you will have to see them for yourself. Now it is on to Manitou Springs. Our first stop was to see the Cliff dwellers. Very interesting.
On to Pikes peak. We took the train ride to the top and the views were extrodinary. Beautiful place to go. If you get to the top make sure you try the donuts.

These falls are called Seven Falls. There is some hiking involved here but we took the elevator. There were many steps and the old knee does not mind going up but hates coming down.
