We began this venture with the boot. That was a heavy addition but it helped with the pain. Yesterday was finally surgery day. We thought in and out. We were wrong.
And this is the the latest addition. They tell us it is about ten pounds. Ray agrees with that. He looks much better today and is ready to go home. However as everything goes you hurry up and wait. After many people visited him with info we were ready to go pick up all and I do mean all we needed.
The room now looks like its own hospital. We have a wheelchair, potty, scooter(a cute thing) and a walker. With all that it should be a speedy recovery. He cannot put any weigh on the leg for six weeks and then we will be back to our normal routine or so we hope.
